Morning Recommendations

Following are some of the activities which are considered good for morning hours.

  1. Offer prayers to Bhagwan before even opening the eyes
  2. Express gratitude to be alive
  3. Try to remember your dreams before opening your eyes
  4. Write your dreams as soon as you get up
  5. Wish for everyone's peace and health
  6. Meditate
  7. Do Pranayam
  8. Do Yoga
  9. Go for a walk
  10. Practice sangeet
  11. Read something good and positive
  12. Take a shower
  13. Drink water
  14. Water the plants
  15. Make a plan for the day
  16. Get some Sunshine, watch Sunrise
  17. Do Sun salutations
  18. Read/watch news
  19. Do Hawan/Yajna
  20. Try to solve problems

We can not do everything in the morning and should prioritize the morning routine. Some of the recommended activities are really good for the morning hours if done outside in fresh air. If you live in an apartment with no Sun light and use artificial light (bulbs, etc.) all the time, then any time of the day is okay for some of these activities.
