Buddha's Wife

Not much is known abouth Yashodhara ( Buddha's wife), Urmila( Laxman's wife), Radha( after krishna's marriage), Kaikai and Kaushalya( after Dashrath's death) or to Mandodari( after Ravan asked Sita for marriage).

In this book, authors are guessing Yashodhara's life after Bhuddha left her with a newborn baby in the middle of night..

It is not hard to guess what happened to Yashodhara or Urmila. Look around and you will find many going through the same situation. Era changed but feelings, sufferings, and relationships are same.

Long distance marriages, abondonment, divorce, are a common occuring these days Separation can be physical or emotional. Some go into depression, develop psychological issues and even commit suicide. Some become more strong and stay on their own path or find a new path which can be shared or travelled alone. Different people have different ways to reach the same goal, to find meaning of life, to get awakened or enlighted.

I believe, many of us can relate to one of the characters in this book.
