- The whole universe is made of energy. Everything is energy. We see different shapes depending on how energy is condensed or dispersed.
If everything is energy then there is no separation as male or female. Nothing as adult, elderly, or child. Nothing as Indian or American.Nothing as white or brown or black.
Soul, consciousness, emotions, intellect, tree, fire, space, sky, water are just energies. These are not females or males.
Some believe that everything has a proportion of masculine and feminine properties. Masculine Brahma created the universe with knowledge from feminine Saraswati. Masculine Shiva destroys the universe with energy from feminine Shakti. Masculine Vishnu maintains the universe with the help of feminine Laxmi.
The bigger model, Srishti, is reflected in everything. Repetitive and similar patterns are seen everywhere. That bigger model is inside us also. That is why we need to look inside and awaken ourselves. There is nothing wrong with looking outside. What is wrong is to try to find happiness outside of us. Finding happiness in money, relations, religion, rituals, etc. is wrong. With our power, authority, age, relation, we may make people obey us, give respect to us, do things for us but it will never give permanent, true happiness. That bliss is only inside us.
2. Why Shiv is one but his wife appears in many forms?
Shiv represents consciousness. Consciousness is one and static. Consciousness is just there, it does not change forms. That is why Shiv is one.
His wife represents energy. Energy is constantly changing and one type of energy can transform into other type of energy. That is why his wife appears in many forms e.g. Sati, Shakti, Parvati, Durga, Kali, etc.
This is seen at human level also. Consciousness in same but human body/energy changes all the time.
Shiv is yogi and he meditates. Parvati is energy. Energy keeps changing, so Parvati is never shown in meditating state.
