Atma is atma. There are no atma types. As per Hinduism, there are no good or bad atmas. Each one is on its journey. As per Hinduism, bhoot- pret is just an atma who has left the physical body but is still on the earth for some reasons. Its journey to other Lok is delayed or halted. We should be sympathetic towards that atma and should not make fun of it by wearing scary costumes.
