I went to Maggie Daley park a few days ago. I went there to go to the skating ribbon that they hold in winter. It is not a ordinary ice rink. It is twice the size and very different. It is a ribbon of ice that circles the wall climbing section of the park. It was a sunday and the skating rink would be open all day.I went with my mom and brother. My mom drove there and we found parking on a street(paid of course). You had to rent skates from the park building. When I got there I saw the ribbon. There were a lot of people skating and watching. There was a really long line of people outside.Inside the building there were only a few people. My mom asked how to get skates. They said you had to get at the back of the long line with a few hundred people in it.Then they called a few people in at a time to rent skates. My family agreed that it would take hours to get in line and rent skates. So we went to the giant playground at Maggie Daley park. It had a lot of kids playing in it but was REALLY big.It was super crowded but I could still go up the really tall towers with slides going all the way down. There were really cool contraptions and other weird slide thingies.I stayed there for about 2 hours.I got separated from my mom once since the park was so big.It was really fun.
