Some Questions

I am looking to find answers to these questions. Please do not take it in any wrong way. It is just simple curiosity and I am looking forward to get different perspectives, leads, suggestions, resources, etc.

  1. a. Evil people/entities are present since the beginning of creation. Shiv and Vishnu fought with many negative/evil forces. Why evil people/energy was created? What is the main purpose of the existence of evil things?

    b. Evil is also part of Brahma and will merge with Brahma one day then why do we need to fight with them?

  2. Why do Gods say surrender to me, do prayers for me? If they are the creators, why do they have to beg us to worship them?

  3. Mahabharat

    a. Is it true that Kauravas are not descendants of king kuru? Kauravas are the descendants of Vyas Rishi and Ambika? Pandavs are descendants of Vyas Rishi and Ambalika?

    b. Gandhari blindfolded herself, as she did not want to see Dristarastra? Dhritarashtra and his army waged a war against Gandhar and Bhishm forced Gandhari to marry Dritrashtra.

    c. The defeat of Kauravs was facilitated by Shakuni as he wanted to take revenge for her sister and father.

    d. Krishna sided with Pandavs as he was related to them, not because they were right?

    e. Why Bhishma, Kripacharya, Dronacharya sided with Kauravs? They were Gurus and should always support people who are on the right path. What does this say about our gurus? Or they sided with Kauravs as they were rightful heirs.

    f. Drithrastra was supposed to be the king initially but because of his blindness kingdom went to Pandu. After Pandu's death, Drithrastra became king. So, rightfully Duryodhan should be the next king.

  4. How can religious freedom and abortion laws( anti-abortion) exist together?

  5. Why Mahabharat is called Mahabharat? Maha means big. Mahabharat should be a good word ( big Bharat). However, it is almost always used in the context of war, fight, violence, physical altercation, arguments, etc. When two family members are fighting, someone usually says Mahabharat kyun maccha rakha hai.

  6. After death, atma takes a new physical body. People say that new body usually has scars and injuries at same sites as in previous birth. How is it a new body if it has the same scars? Does atma wants to remember the injuries and creates scars at same sites? If a person is blind, will he be blind in next birth also?

  7. Hindus consider cow as mother. If cow is so sacred, why do they drink so much milk? Why to take away milk from calves? They offer ghee ( made from cow milk ) to Bhagwan. Is it morally right to take away calves share of milk and offer it to Devi Devtas?

  8. To those who think that old times were better and try to incorporate old practices in today's world-- How far back you want to go? I am sure you do not want to go back upto the time when universe was created and there was no agriculture, electricity, clothes, homes, etc. What is your cut off line to go back in time?
