But most streamers are relatively small and aren't as famous. That doesn't mean you shouldn't stream. Here are the Pros and Cons of streaming on Twitch.
Pros:
-Streaming on twitch is often entertaining for yourself and your audience. -You meet with your audience and often get comments from them, basically your engaged with them. -You can get some money from it, but it's really hard and takes lots of time building up your channel. Don't stream on Twitch just for the money because it's more a hobby than a job.
Cons:
-You spend a really long time to get viewers and often will not have many viewers. Most people stream for really long time and often don't get anything out of it.
- Their lots of haters and it gets stressful. In many games you will get stream sniped and can't really do much about it. It can get tiring often.
Tips to boost your twitch channel.
Don't play really popular games:
There's no point in streaming a really popular games that are dominated by a few dozen people. For example fornite you have to be really good and really spend time to even get a few viewers, because all of them will be watching Ninja and Courage and people like that. Play games that a lot of people don't play so you can get viewers.
Set a schedule for yourself:
Don't stream at random time in the day and night because the best way to build up your channel is to get regular viewers who watch you at a certain time every day so it becomes a habit for you and your viewers will know when your streaming. Streaming often turns into a habit and if you set a time for yourself after school or work, then your audience will know when to tune in.
