In yog, we are trying to connect to the supreme power and believe that everyone is part of him. It is a concept of unity. AI is a concept of division. People with knowledge of AI manipulate and use others and never want others to know their truths and become like them.
Yog means going inside ourselves, introspect, analyze and control our senses. AI wants to control others, collect information about others, analyze that data and then build its algorithms. It is going outwards towards the world.
Yog believes in the inner potential of every human. All humans can achieve the same end result of becoming one with supreme power. AI believes that everyone is different.
In Yog, there is no competition. Everyone can do Yog and achieve the same end result. AI creates competition. Not everyone can achieve the same understanding of its working and algorithms.
Yog brings calmness, peace, high self-esteem, cooperation, contentment, equality, honesty, compassion, etc. AI brings inequality, anxiety, low self-esteem, division, dependency, dissatisfaction, betrayal, etc.
The mind has amazing powers e.g. remote viewing, telepathy, etc. No investment is needed to use the mind. Its use does not require an elaborate setup and security. AI is expensive and needs safeguards and protection.
Mind needs nutrition. AI needs charging or fuel.
Mind can not be hijacked. AI can be hijacked and altered.
Mind can not be cloned. AI can be cloned.
Some people are trying to download mind and use that for AI.
AI can give gratification from outside, Yog gives Anand from inside.
AI demands attention, leads to short attention span, and continuous partial attention, Yog asks for withdrawal or detachment (Pratyahar) and focus. It increases attention span and focus.
AI does not promote heart to heart connection with other beings. Yog leads to heart to heart connections, compassion, empathy, altrism, etc.
In Yog the goal is Kumbhka or cessation of brathing. Practitioners of Yog breath slowly and deeply. In exercises, the end result is increased heart rate, shortness of breath, rapid breathing, and sweating.
Yog brings flexibility. It involves stretching and moving joints and muscles. Exercise is usually done to build muscles and loose weight.
Yog can be done at any stage of life. Exercise are usually for young people.
Yog increases inner strength, yogi does not feel tired and hungry after yoga. Yog also decreases stres, improves concentration and memory. Yoga conserves energy. It does not deplete energy like exercises.
People feel tired after exercises, they need to eat more to replete the drained energy. Exercise does not improve concentration and memory.
Yog increases body movements and flexibility, it makes body energetic and mind still. Exercise makes body tired and mind more active.
Yoga increases awareness of self. It is slow paced with awareness at cellular level and even beyond.
Yoga stretches give massage and movement of internal organs. It leads to a better circulation and function of internal organs.
Ego is annihiliated in Yog, ego is strengthened in exercise.
Yog- goal is moksh, exercise- goal is achievement.
Yog- increase of blissful and inner awareness, exercise- increase of outer and stressful awareness.
In Yoga complimentary poses are mandatory. In exercise, complimentary poses are not necessary.
In Yoga, preparatory and post poses are important. In exercise, there is no need for preparatory and post exercises.
Sukshma vyayam-- Passive and active. Many physiotherapy exercises are passive. In Yoga, passive practices are used only for immobile joint. With passive movements also, the corresponding brain areas are activated and then neuroplastisity comes into play. Surrounding brain networks also then get active. Then slowly active vyayams are introduced.
In yoga, vyayam, breathing, and chanting are synchronized.
In yoga, there is purposeful relaxation.
AI considers consciousness as a material thing. Yog leads to transcendence. As per Yog, we are not the body or material thing. Our capabilities are beyond the body and mind. We can experience transcendence.
AI relies on memories. Yog is removing memories or detachment from memories.
AI can not have telepathy. WIth Yog telepathy comes.
Yatha pinde tatha brahmande concept does not apply to machines.
AI is distraction, Yog is concentration. Maximum AI can provide is consistent partial attention.
Ai cuts us of from others, Yog brings altruism and connections with others.
With AI we loose sense of reality, community, compassion, empathy and live more in virtual world.
AI- senses flow outside, Yog- senses flow inwards.
